I may be a business owner, but I’m also a homeowner who has experienced the challenges that homeownership brings. On multiple occasions, an unexpected problem has come up, and I have found it difficult to choose a company to remedy the situation. I would look for someone who takes pride in their work, is skilled, honest, affordable, and willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent service.
That proved to be easier said than done! It seemed that when I started to research whose services I might enlist, almost every company promoted themselves as “the best in the industry,” having “the most qualified professionals,” and providing “outstanding customer service,” all while offering “the most competitive pricing.”
How can every company be the best in the business?
Personally, I get tired of the same old spiel. I just want the professional’s honest assessment of the issue, options to address it, a realistic quote as to what it will cost, and answers to whatever questions I might have. In other words, I don’t want a sales pitch and the BS that often accompanies it. With that said, no BS here. For over 50 years we’ve grown through word of mouth because of our quality work and excellent customer service. And when we’ve screwed up on occasion (and let’s be honest – every company does), we’ve made it right because we value our customers and take pride in what we do.
